SREBRNIAK

"Warsaw's Silver Heritage: Pearl-Eyed Nobility"

Curator's Selection Note

In this silver heritage from Warsaw, the homogeneity of the pearl shimmer in the feathers is everything. The genetic purity of the pearl eye — that spotless, immaculate iris — is our priority. The slightly diagonal posture of the tail, combined with the forward thrust of the chest, creates that noble line that is the fundamental seal of our selectivity.

Breed History & Origin

Srebrniak — Poland's Silver Heritage

The name Srebrniak comes from the Polish “srebro”, meaning silver. This breed has been the sole passion of Polish breeders since the 16th century. Nearly lost during World War II; today it is under protection.

Its upright posture, the slight diagonal position of the tail and the forward chest combine to make this breed striking on show platforms. And that pearl shimmer on the feathers is a separate genetic miracle.

When it entered the Nadire collection they asked little of me: a clean eye, homogeneous feathers and a calm character. I can say we found them.
